I don't think I've ever noticed how sweet spring can smell until this year. The lilac and honeysuckle are so fragrant right now. Just walking down the sidewalk you can smell the sweetness on the breeze.
I don't mean to sound sappy, but it really is heavenly. I've been sitting at the park a lot lately while the girls play and I've really noticed how the air itself just smells sweet.
We had a picnic lunch at the park today, then played and went for a walk and didn't get home until dinner time. My feet are KILLING me, but I know I'll sleep well tonight, so it's worth it.

Lilacs...my favorite. Also playing/walking all afternoon is pretty great too. :)
