E got her ears pierced!!!

This is what E's been wanting for her birthday. She absolutely LOVES her new sparkly earrings and will tell anyone she runs into, stranger or friend, that she just got her ears pierced. It really is adorable. She is also VERY serious about cleaning them three times a day. :) It's amazing how fast my sweet baby is growing up. She'll be six tomorrow. Six. I have mixed feelings about that. I'm thrilled my baby girl is growing into such a sweet, smart, wonderful big girl, but I just want it all to slow down. In honor of my baby, here are some pictures of her getting her ears pierced.

E knew she wanted "sparkly diamonds", so we settled for fakes ones for her April birth month.


Marker dots on her ears! They let her hold a bear to make her feel brave. :)


The actual moment of piercing. :( I think it really surprised her how much it hurt. Poor thing. :(

K's swim lesson!!

Here are some pictures from K's lesson! She absolutely loved the whole class. The teachers were nice and let me stay on the pool deck to take pictures. :)

I also just realized that I put way more pictures from K's lesson than I did for E's. That's pretty much because when I posted E's, I didn't have time to wait for them to upload--these pictures are HUGE and really take a long time to put on the blog. This entry took over 20 minutes. Ugh. So sorry, E. I'll give you more pictures soon!! :)

Day at the park!

It's been beautiful weather, so we've been spending plenty of time at the parks around us. :)

Busy

I'd update this more often but wow--spring has been busy. I love it that way. Winter was way too boring.
E and K had their first swim lessons this past weekend, and they both loved it. Hopefully I'll get a picture of K swimming next week...

Our new camera!

Well, we got our new camera, and realized we have a LOT to learn about DSLRs. It's been a lot of fun so far, though. Here are some of our favorite pictures, taken the first and second days we had it. The first picture is when we played around with the color extraction feature. :)
