Kindergarten updates Part II

Well, E loves her teacher!! We'll try to get some pictures up here soon.

kindergarten updates!

E will have Mrs. Venus for her kindergarten teacher. I have no idea who this is, but E thinks her name is cool. That's a good start, right?
And it turns out that she'll know someone in her class!! A friend of her's from gymnastics will be in the same class, which is great news!!! I didn't expect her to know anyone since the district is so stinking huge, so this is a big plus.
We are getting SOOOOOOOOO excited for that first day!! We get to meet the teacher August 27th, so we'll post about that when it happens. :)
First day of school is September 1, 2009!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A day at the park

Yeah, it's been awhile. We've had a great summer, though. Playing at the pool, playing at the park, lots of cooking out, our trip east to see family and flying kites with Grandpa, and of course plenty of bike riding. We're getting so close to kindergarten and I'm starting to get pretty excited for E. I had all these plans to help her with penmanship and writing this summer, but I have not even done that once. Oh well. Let her teacher take care of it. :)
