GRADUATION DAY!!!
My baby is a pre-school graduate!!!! It's hard to believe tiny E is going to kindergarten next year. And getting on a big kid school bus, too! Well, it won't be TOO big kid, since it'll only be kindergarteners on it. Anyway, I have lots of great pictures from her graduation ceremony, but they all involve her friends from school and I don't want to post pictures of other people's kids. So, these are the only pictures I've got with just my girls...

That's all for now. Their gymnastics and ballet/tap classes all have picture days this coming week, so we'll get some cute pictures from those. :)

Baby, you ought to be in pictures!!
But alas, I'm a slacker and didn't bring a camera. :) We just spent the weekend at Key Lime Cove in Gurnee and it was great!!! It was like a mini-vacation and the girls loved it. They have a huge indoor water park with lots of water slides, a lazy river, and a wavey "beach" that E couldn't get enough of.
K: She learned to jump off the edge of the kiddie pool (only 2 feet deep and we kind of caught her every time). She also LOVED the little kid water slide. At one point during the weekend, she went 42 times in a row without a break.
E: She learned to "swim" underwater. Swim is in quotes because she just kind of floats there and looks like she's drowning, but she's fine. She could never do that before this weekend, so we're very proud of her. She says she's now a fishie.
Carrie: I was terrified at first, watching my girls go down the water slides. I'm a little neurotic about water (okay, I'm a psychopath and can't take my eyes off my kids for a split second without being terrified), but I relaxed after awhile, and had a lot of fun.
D: Stood up to a maybe 3-year-old boy and hollered at him for shoving K to the ground. Way to go!!! Seriously, the kid was a total jerk to K. D got us this weekend for Mother's Day, and it was definitely worth it. :) Thanks, D!!!!

In honor of today:
Yes, I'm proud of myself right now.
Some funny things K has said lately:
Mommy, broccoli hurts my feelings
Mommy, let's go out in the.....the.....the neighborhat.
And E's pretty funny, too. Around 10 p.m. the other night we heard the pitter patter of little feet coming down the stairs. As I got up to check it out, E rounded the corner with her crazy bedhead hair (if you've never seen this, picture Edward Scissorhands).
"E, what are you doing??"
She looked around, very confused. With her hands down by her side, she plodded around the family room, saying "I. DON'T. KNOW."
We worry about her sometimes. But it was pretty funny. Here's a picture of her this week. This is what she does for fun.
