Restless

You know those times that you know you just need to do something different? Like those times that you paint a room or buy something really ridiculous just because you need to?
I'm feeling like that right now. It's a beautiful day outside and I'm going crazy because I feel like there's something I should be doing.
It might be guilt because I let my girls watch their new movie this morning when we should have been playing outside.
D hates when I get like this. He always fears that he'll come home and I'll have painting cloths down and furniture covered, expecting him to help me paint the entire basement or something. It's a valid fear. I did that to him last summer. Except it was the entire second floor.
But painting doesn't seem quite right this time (breathe that sigh of relief, D).
I feel like doing something more.....something is nagging at me and I can't figure out what it is.

Busy days

Okay, so it's been awhile. We've had a busy few weeks. First, Grandma was here for spring break!! The girls absolutely loved it and had so much fun laughing with Grandma. They were very sad to see her leave. Then just a little more than a week later and Nana and Papa are here!
We've also been busy with some sickness going around. Poor K wasn't able to keep anything down for a full day. Luckily, E didn't get that.
Here are a few pictures of the past few weeks.

The first few are from our wonderful spring break snowstorm. Stupid Illinois.

E and K help shovel:

Seriously, that snow was heavy.

Our first signs of spring:

The backyard:

We had a rainbow! Actually, it was a double rainbow, but the camera didn't capture it.

K's sick day. I thought she could use some fresh sunshine, but she just wanted to sleep.

Easter Sunday:

And last but not least, K loves holding her smiles back from the camera. She thinks it's positively hilarious. I think the progression of pictures is better.

Picture 1: Holding back a smile well. E is smiling.

Picture 2: Barely holding back a smile, E's smile is disappearing.

Picture 3: K's lost it, and E's bored. This is why I can never get a good picture of the two of them together.

Thanks For Visiting
